How To Remove A Splinter Using Splinter Out
Wash area thoroughly with soap and water.
Let dry, swab with alcohol, allow to dry.
Carefully remove the sterile lancet from the wrapper, without touching the point.
Use the sterile point to gently loosen the skin above and around the splinter until the splinter can be lifted out. Surface skin has few nerve endings and can be gently picked away, exposing the splinter with minimal discomfort. Do not remove splinter from it's entry point. That will just drive the splinter deeper into the skin.
After removing splinter with lancet, bandage the area and keep clean until healed.
Use each lancet only once, then discard.
Guaranteed sterile unless damaged or opened.
Instructions also appear on the back of each individual lancet wrapper.
